En vecka...
...i nya boendet.
Jag flyttade alltså tillslut ut ur huset i Campbelltown. Mååånga lååånga diskussioner har det varit... Jag kom ju till Australien i tron att jag och Jarrod skulle skaffa oss ett eget boende i stan, precis som förut. Och det var ju planen. Tills han kom på andra tankar... Nu vägrar han, av lite olika anledningar, att flytta ifrån huset. Och lika väl som jag förstår honom och (dom flesta av) hans argument, kan jag ändå inte riktigt acceptera att han inte tycker att det viktigaste är att ha ett eget boende tillsammans med mig. Särskilt som han ju sett hur dåligt jag mått av att bo där ute...
Fast här måste jag ändå förklara mig lite. Jag har verkligen trivts i huset, har känt mig välkommen från första stund och har verkligen känt att det varit mitt hem lika mycket som alla andras. Jag har även trivts jättebra med att bo med Shane, Sam och till och med Max. Och så Frank the Doggie förstås <3 Vi har haft massa kul ihop och vi ser oss alla som en familj.
Problemet har varit att Campbelltown är en håla! Vi har ju inte ens bott i själva Campbelltown, utan ytterligare ett stopp längre bort med tåget, Macarthur. Där finns bara ett villaområde och ett stort köpcentrum. Där dom flesta affärer stänger kl 17.
Nä, lite orättvis är jag kanske, för det finns faktiskt en bowlinghall, en biograf, restauranger och en bra pub. Men ändå... Det är ute på vischan och det går inte att ändra på! Och så var det det här med restiden... En timme och tio minuter på tåget. Nattbussen, som jag ju måste ta varje natt efter jobbet, tar en och en halv timme. Det är för mycket!
Så tillslut kom vi överens om att enda lösningen var att jag flyttade... Jag hittade en annons om två personer som sökte en flat mate i Dulwich Hill. Det är ju inte direkt city, men bra mycket närmare, ca 40 minuter med buss och hållplatsen precis utanför huset. Dessutom jättenära till Newtown som är ett av mina favoritområden i Sydney.
Folket jag bor med då:
Cass, 22 år och Tom, 30 år (ej ett par). Dom är båda australiensare. Sen vet jag inte så mycket om dom faktiskt. Har knappt träffat dom, haha. Gick ut och drack några öl ihop första kvällen, men det är allt. Cass reste bort i fredags och ska vara borta hela veckan, och Tom och jag har gått om varandra. Han jobbar dag och jag mest kväll. Så kan det gå!

Och ett litet förtydligande: jag och Jarrod har inte gjort slut! Nu måste vi bara planera lite när vi ska träffas. Som tur är så jobbar han jättenära där jag bor, så när jag är ledig kan han komma hit (vilket han gjorde igår), eller så kan jag åka med honom hem när han slutar jobbet (vilket jag ska göra idag).
Men så småningom hoppas jag att han ska ändra sig och att vi ska skaffa ett hem tillsammans.
Du är ju verkligen ingen tjej som ska bo i en håla :-)
